About me
Why web, video and 3D belong together in my work rather than being three separate offers.
One craft, three tools
Capture, process, deliver. On a construction project that is the same chain as on a film or a web application. I learned all three steps separately, which is why I now do them in one go. For the site it means this: whoever captures does not have to explain what they meant. Whoever delivers does not have to guess what was meant. Between a finding on site and what the owner sees on screen there is no foreign interface.
3D and survey
Capturing rooms, roof structures and construction states completely, instead of collecting individual photos. Measuring happens in the model, even once the site has long been closed.
Video and image
Video production and video journalism. I know how to show a process so that someone who was not there understands it. For a construction sequence that is the same work as for a report.
Web and IT
Full stack development and network infrastructure. I build the portals the results sit on, and I run the technology that needs power and network on site.
Why this holds up on site
A construction project rarely fails for lack of knowledge. It fails because knowledge does not reach the right people in time. I have led twenty freelance staff and coordinated a warehouse serving seventy two branches. Both are the same problem in different clothing: many parties, distributed locations, little time. The mobile field office is the answer to that. Finding, capture and document happen on the same day, in the same place.
Background
I run Mediaquotes Jones Schibli, an agency for media production and technical delivery. Before that, warehouse management at Romang Handels AG, video production and journalism, and entrepreneurial work in Paraguay. German as a native language, English at professional level, Spanish fluent.
